This season in Philadelphia

Pause your repose to explore neighborhood traditions, local shops and cafés, and the world-class museums, galleries, performing arts, and events that make University City a rich cultural destination.

Philly is counting down to a global soccer tournament and citywide 250th anniversary celebrations in 2026, but there’s no shortage of attractions in the meantime.

Within blocks of The Study, guests of all ages can explore the Penn Museum and Academy of Natural Sciences, lace up for public hours at Penn’s ice rink or open play at the Arlen Specter US Squash Center, and attend live shows, gallery exhibits, and sporting events on the Drexel and Penn campuses.

Traditions like Christmas Village, Wanamaker Light Show, and the New Year’s Day Mummers Parade are mere minutes away, directly across the Schuylkill in Center City.
