Voices Alive!
Through September 22, 2026
Presented by Philadelphia youth literacy organization A Book a Day and featured at The Study in celebration of National Literacy Month, Voices Alive! brings together a collection of vibrant posters featuring messages from artists, authors, and mentors, each offering words of inspiration and encouragement to young students.
Colorful, personal, and full of heart, the series celebrates the power of a good story, a creative spark, and a few words of encouragement to help a young person see what’s possible. At its heart, Voices Alive! is a reminder that every student has a story to tell, and every voice deserves to be heard.

A Book a Day is a West Philadelphia–based 501(c)(3) nonprofit that uses the arts to inspire literacy and lifelong learning among children in underserved and diverse communities. Since 2014, the organization has distributed more than 10,000 books to young readers throughout Philadelphia, with a focus on West and Southwest Philadelphia, through schools, community centers, health facilities, and other community partners.
Dedicated to expanding access to education, A Book a Day thoughtfully curates diverse books that elevate marginalized and underrepresented voices, with a focus on subjects including music, art, poetry, street art, and science.
